John Donald Robb (1892-1989), professor and dean emeritus of the College of Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico (1942-1957), was responsible for the growth of fine arts at the University of New Mexico in the 1940s and 1950s. A composer of stage, classical, and electronic music, Robb was also the author of Hispanic Folk Songs of New Mexico (UNM Press).
Jack Loeffler is an aural historian, environmentalist, writer, radio producer, and sound-collage artist. He is the author or editor of many books, including Headed into the Wind: A Memoir, Thinking Like a Watershed: Voices from the West, Survival Along the Continental Divide: An Anthology of Interviews, and Adventures with Ed: A Portrait of Abbey (all from UNM Press).
Author of numerous books, Enrique R. Lamadrid is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Spanish from the University of New Mexico.
