is a literary magazine put out annually by the creative writing department at the University of New Mexico. They accept submissions of fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction from all over the country.

Since 1975, the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology Press has served to preserve cultural heritage through the documentation and publication of scholarly archaeological research. Specializing in producing high-quality academic volumes, the Press publishes about 10 titles per year in seven different series.

Fresco Fine Art Publications produces unique books and catalogs for artists, galleries and museums throughout the United States. Fresco was founded in response to the need in the Santa Fe art community for beautifully designed art books and catalogs that could be produced at a cost that was affordable, and within a time frame that kept the project fresh and enjoyable.

La frontera is Spanish for "the frontier," and at La Frontera Publishing, the mission is to be a frontier for new stories and new ideas about the American West.



West End Press

Since its founding in 1976, West End Press has published 130 titles of progressive, community-based poetry, drama and fiction, with a concentration on women and multicultural writers. Their books are oriented toward social change, though they don’t subscribe to a single political agenda. They see no contradiction between literature and politics; instead, they believe all art has a social dimension.
